How do I install Comeks?

Installing Comeks is easy. You can download Comeks on your personal computer and then install it on your phone or you can download the file directly to your mobile phone. You can find detailed download instructions here.

I cannot install Comeks, what is wrong?

Make sure that your phone is supported and you have access to Internet and to http://get.comeks.com.

I have installed the installation file, where can I access it?

The file is automatically installed in the Applications folder of your mobile phone and thus can be started by going into your mobile's applications folder.

How do I use Comeks to make my funny messages?

Using is very easy and intuitive. If you want to see a demonstration about its usage, you can see the instruction video.

Also a quick introduction can be found inside the application, you can select the Help option from the main menu screen. Many users prefer to start playing with it right away and understand its usage through experimentation.

What is mPostcard?

mPostcard allows you to create a private wap page of your Comek and send links to your friends via SMS. In your wap page your friends can comment and reply to your Comek without the need of Comeks Mobile Application. Sending mPostcards is free (data transfer charges depends on your mobile service).

What are filters?

Filters are the various effects that can be used to give different visual style to your photos.

What are stickers?

A sticker is a graphical add-on that can represent cartoon-like characters or other comic-like items, such as sound effects.

Where can I get more stickers?

More stickers can be downloaded by selecting the "Get more stickers" option at the end of the sticker selection menu. This will connect you to the Comeks website to download more stickers.

Can I also share my creations with my friends?

Yes, you can do that by either sending the Comek as MMS, e-mail or by uploading your comics to the Comeks website or to other web communities. In order to upload it to the Comeks website, you will need to register first.

Why do I need to create an account and get myself registered to the Comeks website?

Getting registered to the Comeks website opens a lot of new features for the users of Comeks. You can share your Comeks online and add friends from all over the world that share your interests.

Help I forgot my password, how can retrieve it?

You can retrieve your password by going here and then typing in your username. The password will be sent to you as SMS or e-mail.

I want to change my username; is it possible to do it?

Yes, you can change your username by going to your profile page, typing in a new username and then pressing save when done.

How can I make friends?

Friends are all users with whom you want to have a friendship on the Comeks website. You can request a user's friendship by clicking the "Add to friends" button on the user's page or directly from the application using your friends phone number. That user will receive a message with your friendship request. As soon as that user accepts the request, you will be able to see him/her in the 'Friends' tab of your profile.

Can I delete my profile?

You can disable your account by going to "edit profile" and clicking "Disable account" button.
